Renowned Kumu Hula Meleana Manuel from Volcano, Hawai’i~~this year’s Aloha Festivals Queen~~will return to the South Bay to lead hula workshops on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. She will also perform at a music concert dedicated to Hawai’i musician Ben Kaili on Friday, March 13, 2026. See the attached flyers for details.

Wed., March 11: DURING the 2 Hula Workshops at Cupertino Odd Fellows Lodge
FOR: Musicians/singers/All lovers of Hawaiian music.
You may be familiar with the songs Kōke’e and Wahine ‘Ilikea written by Dennis Kamakahi but do you know the mana’o (thoughts or knowledge) about the songs? All are welcome to learn from Kumu Mele. Bring your instruments, music stand, pen/pencil for notes.

Fri., March 13: Music Concert at Cupertino Odd Fellows Lodge Dining Hall
Doors open 6:30pm, Concert 7:00-8:30pm
Hula workshop participants will have the opportunity to perform the dances learned at the hula workshops!
