Volcano Lodge #25 has begun holding monthly social events on the third Tuesday of the month, and invites other Odd Fellows from the area to join in.
We started our monthly “Volcano Domino Night” two months ago, so we have some experience with it. It’s held in Friendship Hall at 7:30 pm and runs 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. We use Double 9 sets and so far have played both Block & Draw. We started with six attendees, and can accommodate up to 18. Refreshments and prizes are provided. Our next event is on September 15th.
A note of caution: SRC expansion has made parking more difficult. Temporary signage shows the north end of Colfax Lane is closed. As you may already know, the entrances to Cal Villa Building 2000 are on Colfax Lane. Parking circles the 2000 building – SRC residents are usually in their reserved slots by 7:30 pm, so park where you can!
