When you step into Lodge 70’s foyer, you’ll notice changes! Past Noble Grand Ron Myres, Present N.G. Jim Kabage, N.G. Elect Richard Sanico, and members Randee Chin, Stephen Franke, and Karen Sanico gathered on Friday, Nov. 14 intending to paint the foyer. While prepping to paint, the team decided to do a major renovation: moving the glass display cases to the entry. It took a lot of muscle to move the two cases, each weighing over 80 pounds, but under Ron’s guidance, the process was completed smoothly and quickly. Ron painted the foyer the next day. Now the foyer has an expansive, welcoming feeling and the entry will function as a place to tell the story of Lodge 70. The team was well-rewarded with a delicious pizza lunch and is looking forward to more projects!
