On Tuesday, April 15, we celebrate in elegant grandeur, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows’ 175 years in California, and 206 years overall in the United States.
At 6PM, the doors open at our Grand Lodge building in San Jose, with guests invited to browse the historic collection in the museum wing. Appetizers and drinks will be served outside and downstairs, with tour groups brought upstairs in shifts, to ensure everyone is able to see the collection without over-crowding.
At 7pm the party will begin making its way to True Fellowship Lodge #52, one mile away from the Grand Lodge. There, the party will enjoy a sumptuous dinner and entertainment, including a reenactment of the founding of the IOOF in Baltimore, in 1819.
Dress to impress! Period costume (circa 1850’s) admired but not required, semi-formal and formal attire appreciated.
Our initial tickets have sold out. However, we will be testing some alternative dining configurations to see if we can comfortably add capacity. Please email mason@true52.org is you would like to be added to our waitlist. Given the signficance of the event, we would like more guests to be able to enjoy it if possible. We will notify people on the waitlist before making any additional tickets available to purchase online.
