In the dining room of TF 52, a team of volunteer crafters were gathered on July 5th, marking , cutting, ironing, piecing together and stitching in companionable harmony.
The day started with an excursion to a wholesale fabric shop in Berryessa. Our intrepid crafters were so entertained by the plethora of fabrics and accessories that leaving was only possible with the promise of returning.
This month’s craft was white, pink, and blue degree collars. The commission was for the RBDL, using a simplified design and keeping the cost to $5 per collar. Our team was Angela Commean, Jane Beckman, Debbie Shuler, Debbie Wolf, and Kat Powell of TF with design and planning input from Sara Bruce and Debra Lavergne.
We had so much fun we will be introducing a DIY craft activity into our Potluck socials. (See upcoming events for details.)
